New Year Night

My family always has the fire pit in the driveway on New Year's Eve, and we hang out by the fire and listen to music as a family. I love doing this because it gives me time with my family, and I enjoy having a little tradition with my family. Time with my family is always very important to me because family is sacred. New Year's Eve was special because at midnight, I was able to wish my best friend Sophia a happy birthday. Making my best friend feel special on her birthday made me so happy because she is such an amazing person who always cares. I am so lucky to have such amazing people coming into 2025 with me.

On New Year's day, I went to the park with my best friends Izzy and Sophia for Sophia birthday. At the park, we made our own little pic nic and had so much fun enjoying each other's company. One of the main things I did during winter break was i went to practice almost every other day in during that time I made JV. Making JV made me very happy because I've always wanted to do good in softball. While I played softball till around 5 I got to see so many pretty sunsets. While I did so many different things I also made things different about myself, I bleached my hair and got blonde, going blonde made me feel a lot like I looked like my mom more. I am so grateful for winter break and all the people I got to share it with.
